Our Story
I’m a married speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience, living in the Midwest with my family. We enjoy activities like riding, basketball, cycling, art, and reading. Our Pitbull Australian Shepherd pup shares our home. My daughter battled opioid addiction for nine years before passing away at 25 in March 2025. Her story is very complex, and I decided to start a website and blog to tell her story and raise awareness of drug addiction and the myths, lack of knowledge, and complacency that surround it.
